Our July Employee of the Month is Megan Beaty. Megan is a Health Care Coordinator with SouthernCare Hospice. She has been part of the SouthernCare team since March 2025. When asked what she wishes people knew about Hospice, Megan stated, "I wish more people knew that choosing hospice doesn't mean you're giving up hope. Sometimes hope simply changes from hoping for a cure to hoping for comfort, meaningful time together, and the best quality of life possible. It's an incredible privilege to help patients and families through that transition. Megan also states, "I love working for SouthernCare because I'm surrounded by people who genuinely care about what's best for our patients. Our team is passionate about advocating for their needs and serving patients and families in whatever way we can. It's special to work alongside people who truly lead with compassion and a heart for service." During Megan's free time, she enjoys spending time with my family. She has two active boys here in Orange Beach, her parents live nearby, and she has three stepchildren in Birmingham, so family keeps her busy! She also loves spending time with their new puppy, Cooper, and being involved in her church and community.

Please join us in congratulating Megan on this well-deserved honor.
