"What a Feeling"

I started with a dream and a story to tell.

With hope in my heart that it all would go well.

I wrote every chapter, each word, every line.

And wondered if someday this moment would be mine.

Now T.B.G. is printed right there on the cover page.

A dream once inside me has stepped on the stage.

My book is published, and people are buying.

I won't even pretend—inside, I am flying!

Every copy that sells brings a smile to my face.

A reminder that dreams have their own time and place.

From an idea in my mind to a book someone holds.

There's no better feeling than watching it unfold.

It wasn't always easy; I had doubts along the way,

But I kept on writing, day after day.

Now somebody out there is turning each page.

Living in the world that I put on that stage.

But I didn't get here on my own, this much I know.

I thank God above for helping this dream grow.

For giving me strength when the road became tough,

And reminding me through faith that I was enough.

To my wife, thank you for standing beside me.

For the love and encouragement that continued to guide me.

And to my mother-in-law, thank you as well.

For believing in the dream and reading the stories I wanted to tell.

Your encouragement mattered more than words can say.

You helped me keep going when doubt got in the way.

So a piece of this moment belongs to you too.

Because dreams become stronger when someone believes in you.

So here's to the dreamers who refuse to give in.

Who stumble, get up, and keep trying again.

I'm T.B.G., the author—and proud I can say:

My book is published.
My book is selling.
God has truly blessed me.
And what a great feeling on this day!

T.B.G.

Barbecues and fireworks, flags and parades, family and friends—Independence Day brings to mind so many images of American culture.
This day was meant to celebrate the birth of our great nation, the United States of America. On July 4, 1776, our nation was born. It has been 250 years, and yet she is still a young country. Today's festivities celebrate America's independence because our Founding Fathers stood up to the tyranny of an overbearing monarchy. Ever since the signing of the Declaration of Independence, our great nation has continued to grow, learn, and strive to be a beacon of freedom.
And remember... back-to-back World War champions!
USA! USA! USA! USA! USA!
We should give thanks to God for giving us the opportunity and blessing of living in a free country. We, the people of this land, should remember that it is by God's grace that we continue to enjoy our liberties and pray that He will preserve the peace of this nation through Jesus Christ our Lord.
God, Your name is in the founding documents of our country. Our Founding Fathers knew they needed You. But as time has passed, parts of this great land You have given us have walked away from You.
God, help us today to use this day to unite our country once again. Keep us, guide us, and draw us back to You.
This day should be a celebration—not only of the birth of our great nation, but also of all that this land has given us and of all the men and women who have sacrificed and died to protect her.
God, I thank You for my life in this great land. Today is first about You, and then about this country.
Amen.

Here's a patriotic poem I have done for. America's 250th anniversary:

"America's 250th Birthday"

For two hundred fifty years we've stood.

A nation striving for what's right and good.

From sea to shining sea we proudly say.

God bless the grand old U.S.A.

The Liberty Bell first rang so clear.

Its message echoed far and near.

Though cracked today, its voice still tells.

Our story that within it dwells.

The Statue of Liberty lifts her flame.

Welcoming strangers who proudly came.

A beacon shining through the night.

A symbol of hope, of truth, and right.

Old Glory waves in red, white, and blue.

For every brave soul, both old and new.

The red reminds of courage untold.

The white stands pure, more precious than gold.

The blue proclaims that faith remains.

Through victories won and seasons of pain.

The stars unite each state as one.

Beneath the same bright freedom's sun.

We've faced our trials, we've paid the cost.

Remembering those our nation lost.

Heroes answered freedom's call.

Giving their lives to protect us all.

So on this milestone, proud and free.

We celebrate today our history.

With grateful hearts and voices raised.

May God forevermore be praised.

Happy 250th, land we love.

Blessed by His mighty hand from above.

May freedom's light forever stay.

God bless the United States of America, today!

This is the latest rebuild we are working on.
Always, always address water leaks as soon as they appear. Don't simply place your RV in storage and forget about it. Be sure to check on it regularly, especially after heavy rains.
Much of the damage we see could have been prevented with a simple roof inspection. That's why we offer FREE roof inspections at our shop—at absolutely no charge to you.
Our goal is to help you avoid costly repairs and protect your investment before small problems become major ones.
Call today to schedule your FREE roof inspection at the shop.
Note: If you prefer, we can come to you with our mobile service. A mobile service fee of $90.00 applies.
This version sounds professional, informative, and focused on helping the customer rather than selling to them.
