Dear Families and Community,

This is one of the hardest posts I’ve ever had to write.

After many long, emotional conversations and a lot of reflection, I have made the incredibly difficult decision to close our daycare. Our last day of operation will be May 8th.

This decision did not come lightly. As the sole owner and operator of the business, I have reached a point where I need to step back and prioritize my mental health and my family. The stress of maintaining staffing and meeting all requirements has become more than I can sustainably manage.

I am beyond grateful for every family who has trusted me with their children. It has truly meant the world to me to be a part of your lives and your children’s growth.

We are running on sunshine, flowers, and emotional support dumplins this week ❤️🌼🥟 We love sharing these moments with our little friends!

We want to take a moment to address an incident that occurred at our center today, which is currently being shared on social media.

First and most importantly, all children are safe.

We fully understand that this situation is concerning and upsetting. While the children were quickly and safely retrieved within seconds, we recognize that this should not have happened in the first place, and we take full responsibility.

As soon as the incident occurred, we immediately responded, notified the families involved, and self-reported to the appropriate licensing authorities. We are working closely with them and following all required procedures.

We have already taken corrective action by installing additional child safety locks and reviewing our supervision and safety protocols to ensure something like this cannot happen again.

For transparency, our front entrance is required to remain accessible from the inside in accordance with fire safety regulations, which is how the children were able to exit so quickly. We are implementing additional layers of protection to further secure the building.

The safety of the children in our care is our highest priority, and we are committed to maintaining a safe, secure, and trustworthy environment for every family.

We appreciate the support of our families and community as we continue to address this matter with the seriousness it deserves.
