Finally got around to restoring my old 70’s Univox Hi-Flier. (Before and After).

I think she turned out great!

1969 Gibson banjo in for a fret level/crown/polish, and a railroad spike install.

Haven’t posted in a bit, that’s because I’ve been working on this girl!!!

1950’s Silvertone neck reset, partial refret with a level/crown/polish, complete rewire, and a buff/wax.

She’s playing great now.

Custom wiring harness build and complete rewire. Full setup and a fret level/polish has this old Gibson Explorer rippin again!

I’ve had the distinct pleasure of working on three of these “Phred Instruments” guitars in the last week (same customer)

Let me ask you folks something.

A “DIY Guitar Kit” craze is sweeping the nation nowadays (which is AWESOME by the way).

Would you be more apt to purchase a completed custom instrument. Or would you rather a custom made guitar kit that you assemble/finish yourselves?

Now, this thing is cool as the other side of the pillow. Never played/worked on one before now.
