Singing Trees Ranch

Today we say farewell to our beautiful STAR as she crossed the rainbow bridge to run with the heavenly herd from Singing Trees Ranch. With her passing it is the end of a era began in 1969 when I bought an old paint mare from the auction ring. Then to our surprise almost 11 months later we were blessed with a tiny black mare. Dutchess grew to be over 15hh and 1200 lbs. she did anything asked of her no matter who was riding her. In 1993 Dutchess presented us with a beautiful golden Palomino mare “ Star”, she became my horse.. Dutchess Died at the age of 36 and Star carried on for her..
Now Star runs with her mom, dad, brothers and sisters in the heavenly herd,, Run FREE my babies. You all are missed so very much.

Here’s a two-day old, baby giraffe...for no other reason than to make you smile. Period.
