As we gather to celebrate America's 250th birthday, we pause to give thanks for the many blessings God has bestowed upon our nation. We are grateful for the freedoms we enjoy, specially the freedom to worship Him openly, gather together as a church family, and share the hope of the Gospel.

While America has experienced both triumphs and challenges throughout its history, we recognize God's faithfulness through every generation. As Psalm 33:12 reminds us, "Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord." Tomorrow, we celebrate not only our nation's history but also the countless ways God has guided, protected, and provided for us over the past 250 years.

As Christians, we know that our ultimate citizenship is in Heaven, but God has called us to be faithful stewards of the place where He has planted us. This anniversary is an opportunity to thank those who have sacrificed to preserve our freedoms, pray for our nation's leaders, and ask God to continue to lead America with wisdom, justice, and compassion.

May we be people who shine His light in our homes, our communities, and our country. As we celebrate 250 years of America, may our hearts be filled with gratitude for our nation's heritage and, above all, for the God who remains faithful yesterday, today, and forever.

Happy Father's Day to all the Dads!

Get Out and Ride!

So I started riding again in 2019 after being away from the bike for a long time. I began with just a few miles at a time and increased it little by little, eventually building up to my longest ride of 116 miles. I started my Strava subscription in September 2020, and yesterday I crossed the 10,000-mile mark.

At 61 years old, I want to encourage others that you can do it too. Doesn’t have to be riding a bike. The key is not being afraid to start small and steadily work your way toward your goals.

Had a great time playing for the Fitzgerald Ben Hill Arts Council at Live from the Gallery. Cris Lawson’s beautiful artwork was on display and I had the pleasure of meeting her and her husband Ed. Thank you Loralee Alexander and the Arts Council for the invitation.

Excited about this opportunity!

O&C friends, we have an exciting update! Our friend Lorne Crabtree will provide us with some beautiful saxophone music a few minutes before the conference begins. Grab a seat early so you can enjoy 😍
