My third illustrated MV, Kite , is now officially live on YouTube 🎥🎞️💽

“Wind Blows” has simple lyrics that repeat three times. As the piano rises and falls, it slowly tells a mother’s hope for her child to grow.

〈風吹〉的歌詞不長，一首曲子中重複了三遍，隨著琴聲的起落，循序漸進的道盡了母親盼望孩子成長的心情。

My second illustrated MV, Wildflowers, is now officially live on YouTube 🎥🎞️💽

開始畫動畫後才真正體會到，有時短短幾秒的畫面，背後其實是十幾、二十張圖接起來的心力⋯

台語詩人周星瀚的《野花》原本描寫的是台灣傳統女性溫婉細膩的心思；而當聽見男歌手許霈文演唱時，他以可剛可柔的聲音完全駕馭這首歌！也是這樣微妙的衝突感，讓我在創作 MV 故事時，看見了更多層次與畫面💕希望大家會喜歡（快去YouTube 聽聽看）



🔎單曲-野花 💿 #時間的皺紋

《野花》大寒首播，極寒節氣裡最溫暖的守望。不論過了多久，不論「他」遠去何方，這裡的野花依然綻放，這裡的思念依舊。這首歌，獻給依然對愛情堅貞的人⋯⋯。

聽歌手許霈文唱台語詩人周星瀚寫的這首歌，不斷想著，什麼才算是故鄉。畫MV的時候，除了把歌裡提到的老街、日治時期的川端橋畫進畫面裡，還能用什麼方式，去表現詞人對故鄉那份放在心裡很深的思念

「回憶如紅霞，為故鄉剝去熱鬧的色彩。男子下班騎著腳踏車在熟悉的回家路上，繁榮城市的色彩在昏黃中淡去⋯年復一年，景色會變，但母親的耳環、烙單的衣架⋯永遠烙印在腦海裡。」

🔎故鄉的黃昏

It feels strange to see my artwork blown up so big on a wall. I’ve never been good at looking at my finished work with pride🥲 When I see my old drawings, I always wish I had more time or energy to make them better. (I want to make anything better!!!)

As this year comes to an end, I didn’t make many works I feel close to perfect. Still, I want to thank my body for staying with me, working hard, and helping me draw to make a living in New York. 🤍

I hope next year I can have more chances to draw my own voice, and also create better illustrations for my clients.💖

Wanting to keep getting better as an artist is so addictive. I can’t imagine life without this drive to look forward to.💖
