How are we already at week 11 of training for the TCS New York City Marathon ?!

Milage is piling on, hill repeats are back and fun is still the name of the game! This week was extra special because I got to pace my friend Dana Lewis at her 100 mile race! I won’t lie, being at that event gave me the ultra itch again, but I’m not even considering anything until well after NYC 😝

I got to revisit a hill repeat workout I had tried back in July and made huge improvements!

My long run was 19 miles this week and I was struggling by the end of it, thankfully Connor ran my last 10 with me and keep encouraging me even when I was exhausted and wanted to stop!

I was able to make 3 group runs this week with Eastern Dutchess Road Runners which made my heart happy, I love running with my people!

I have my last true down week this coming week before my peak, so I’m going to listen to my body and rest up!

We’re 6 weeks out!! Time to lock in! 🩷
