🐾 This week on Tuesdays on the Trail, we're celebrating our favorite four-legged trail users!

From pup-friendly water fountains and dog waste stations to a well-earned pup cup from Handel's Ice Cream Indy North, we explored some of the best spots for dogs along the Nickel Plate Trail. πŸΆπŸ’§πŸ¦

Whether you're taking a quick stroll or spending the day on the trail, there are plenty of amenities to help keep both you and your furry friend happy, healthy, and hydrated.

Don't miss Indiana Paws for Prevention on June 28 at Fishers White River Park. This family- and dog-friendly walk supports the American Foundation for Su***de Prevention- Indiana Chapter and raises awareness for mental wellness in our community.

🎢 After your walk, head to the Nickel Plate District Amphitheater for tonight's free Tuesday Night Concert featuring Bluewater Kings Band.

🀝 What makes Fishers special isn't just our parks, neighborhoods, or amenities. It's the people who make this community feel like home.

πŸ“Š Our 2026 Community Survey found that residents feel a strong sense of connection and belonging, with many actively participating through community events, volunteering, and neighborhood engagement. Even more notably, 9 in 10 residents say they trust their local government to act in the community's best interest.

❀️ At a time when trust in institutions is declining across the country, we're grateful for a community that stays engaged, works together, and continues to shape the future of Fishers.

πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ Honoring Our Flag and Those Who Serve πŸŽ‰

Today, we recognize Flag Day, celebrating a symbol of freedom, unity and resilience, and the U.S. Army’s 250th birthday, honoring generations of service and sacrifice.

May we continue to honor the flag that represents our nation and the brave soldiers who defend it. Thank you to all who serve!
