Ms. Sheshe is truly one of a kind and embodies what it means to be an incredible early childhood educator. She brings the heart and philosophy of Reggio Emilia into everything she does, creating an environment where children are encouraged to explore, create, wonder, and express themselves.

🎨 And if you know Ms. Sheshe, you know just how much she LOVES the atelier! Her passion for art and creativity shines every single day as she shares that love with the children. She doesn't simply teach art — she creates opportunities for children to discover their own ideas, follow their curiosity, and see themselves as capable and creative thinkers.

She has a beautiful way of slowing down, listening to children, and allowing their ideas to guide the learning. She sees the possibilities in every child and finds ways to turn everyday moments into meaningful learning experiences.

In a Reggio Inspired environment, yoga becomes an opportunity for children to explore movement, balance, self-awareness and emotional regulation.
Today our Prek class enjoyed taking a moment to pause and connect with themselves through some stretching yoga moves.

In a Reggio Inspired School rain puddles become an invitation to explore, wonder and discover!
Our toddlers had so much fun
as they splashed, stomped, jumped and watched the water ripple, they were investigating cause and effect, movement and sound. 💦

Adding a simple element (calculators) to the light table today sparked so much joy and fostered so many learning opportunities for our PreK class!

The calculators instantly became ‘phones’ and calls were made and messages sent:)
It also turned into a competition as to who could make the ‘biggest’ number.
Number Writing opportunities, imagination & collaboration were enjoyed as they played together all the while building their vocabulary skills.

Eventually we demonstrated how to use them for their intended purpose by actually adding the markers & pencils together that were in containers on the table.
