Waiting for Rates to hit 5.5%?
Here's what happened while you waited: In 2022 you could have purchased a $380K property @ 6.5% for $2,401/Month. That same property 2024 would have cost you $445K @ 6.8% for $2,889/Month. Waiting 2 years increased your payment $488/Month + you lost 24 Months of equity for a Total Loss of $67,000. The Fed minimally dropped their fed funds rate 1/4% this week. Last time they dropped their rate Mortgage Rates actually went up. PLEASE stop reading the lagging news/data and call an expert who is in the real estate market every single day.
