This gorgeous picture was taken by my student's mother as her daughter and I flew into the sunset on a tandem introductory flight. It was a beautiful night to fly!

Kayla had a beautiful night for her tandem introductory instructional flight. As a student pilot, almost ready to take her check ride in airplanes, she was all business. She did a great job controlling the glider! These side-by-side videos give you a view of the landing from onboard, as well as from her mother's perspective on the ground. Who's next? Kailyn did a fantastic job on her introductory instructional flight. She learned about setting up the glider, did turns to headings, crabbed into the wind to maintain a course, and controlled oscillations. On her first few turns she rolled out like a pro, with zero oscillation! This... is FREEDOM!
