Join FHD for Youth Mental Health First Aid on Nov. 16 and learn how to recognize signs of mental health or substance use challenges in adolescents and how to connect them with support.

This training is for teachers, coaches, parents, caregivers, school staff, mentors, and other adults who work with youth ages 12-18.

Myth or fact: You only need a flu shot if you’re high risk. 💉

Myth. The flu can affect anyone, and vaccination can help reduce your risk of getting sick and protect the people around you.

Flu vaccination is recommended for everyone 6 months and older, with rare exceptions.

The new partnership between the health department and The Milk Bank gives Fishers families a local place to both donate and access donor human milk.

Fishers’ first Milk Depot and Milk Express are now open! 🍼

Through a new partnership with The Milk Bank, Fishers families can now donate frozen breast milk and pick up donor human milk at FHD.

The new resource helps expand access to donor milk for families, including those with premature and medically fragile infants.

Milk Express orders and donor participation must be coordinated through The Milk Bank.

Fishers Health Department and Meridian Medical Services, Inc are offering free mammograms on Oct. 7 from 9 a.m.–5 p.m. at the Fishers Community Center.

No insurance needed! Appointments are limited, so don’t wait to schedule yours. Walk-ups will be accepted if time permits.
