Hi everyone!

As most of you know, I’m quickly approaching my due date with my baby boy. Now that I’m 34 weeks along, I’ve realized it’s time for me to slow down a bit in order to stay as healthy as possible.

Being a hairstylist truly is my favorite thing in the world, but standing on my feet for 12–14 hours a day has become increasingly taxing on my body. As much as I hate to scale back, I need to listen to my body and take precautions to avoid preterm labor.

With that said, I may not be able to fit as many appointments in or offer the same level of flexibility in my schedule as usual. I kindly ask for a bit of grace during this time, as the end of pregnancy often comes with a few unpredictable moments.

Per my doctor’s recommendation, I’ll be lightening my workload in the coming weeks. If we’re unable to find a time that works for your appointment, I completely understand if you need to see another stylist once or twice—I promise I won’t take it personally!

I truly love and appreciate each and every one of my clients. Thank you all for your support, patience, and understanding as I begin adjusting to this beautiful new chapter.

Friendly PSA to all of my lovely clients,

As most of you know I recently have finished my cosmetology apprenticeship and am now working on my own in the salon. I am also 6 months pregnant with my first child. I love my profession with every fiber of my being, but I’ve come to realize that I am needing to set a few boundaries to ensure that I am not being taken advantage of.

I value your time, so in return I ask that you please value mine. Please show up to your appointment in a timely manner, not late (without sufficient notice in certain circumstances) or ridiculously early asking me to squeeze you in or move my schedule around. It is inconsiderate for not only me, but my other clients as well who do show up on time. If you have to cancel, I require at LEAST 48-72 hours notice or you will be charged 50% of your service.

This one should be self explanatory, but please do not text me in the middle of the night, or blow up my phone after texting me and not receiving a response in a few hours. If it is urgent, you can call (at a reasonable hour) and leave a voicemail. I will get back to you as soon as I am able. It is unfair to me and my family when I am trying to be present for them and I have my phone constantly going off. My husband, child, health, and safety will ALWAYS come first. If that is a problem, maybe look for a different stylist who is able to meet your needs. If you want a 24/7 hair stylist or lash artist, I’ll have to start charging 24/7 stylist pricing 😉

If you have an issue with my pricing (which is already significantly cheaper as it is) feel free to find a stylist or lash artist that is more fitting to your budget. Please do not try to barter services with me or get a discount. I understand that sometimes a service can be pricey, so I'm more than willing to do payment plans through
PayPal credit! This will need to be taken care of BEFORE YOUR SERVICE not after or during.

I hate having to be this harsh, and the last thing I ever want to do is fire a client. But I need to set these boundaries because some people are getting far too comfortable with disrespecting my time and taking advantage of me.
