Today we brought our Big Daddy Tankers home. 💔🐾 I never imagined how much emptier our home could feel without our big guy in it. Seeing his paw prints and bringing his remains home made everything feel so final, and my heart just shattered all over again.

We miss you more than words could ever say, Tank. Thank you for 10½ years of unconditional love, loyalty, protection, and memories. You may no longer be beside us, but your paw prints are forever stamped on our hearts. 🐾💔 Until we meet again, Bubbas. 🌈❤️

Our Big Daddy Tankers, our Tank, our Bubbas, passed away peacefully in his sleep last night, right next to his soulmate. 💔

Tank was truly the bestest boy ever. Even up until his very last breath, he was still taking care of his ladies and treating them like the queens they were to him. In true Tank fashion, he moved from the dog bed so Kita could have it, laid down beside her instead, and there, next to his girl, he peacefully fell into eternal rest. 🥺💔 I can’t think of a more fitting way for our sweet boy to leave this world, still loving and taking care of his family until the very end.

We were blessed with 10½ incredible years with him, and somehow, no amount of time could ever have been enough. We have so many joyful memories, so many laughs, so much love, and so many moments that will forever have Tank woven into them.

He wasn’t “just a dog.” He was our boy. Our family. Our protector. Our Big Daddy Tankers. 🐾❤️ He was so incredibly loved, and I hope he knew every single day just how much he meant to all of us.

Our home and our hearts are going to feel a little emptier without him, but the love and memories he gave us will stay with us forever.

Please give our family some time and grace to grieve. This is the first loss like this our family has experienced together, and our hearts are absolutely shattered.
