3 Rivers Bass Team Trail

Our format will return to the way it was before last season meaning we will be running 3 Rivers and UBTT in conjunction at every event. There will be a 3 Rivers Bass Championship at Navajo on September 19-20 and a UBTT Tournament of Champions on Lake Powell tentatively on October 30-31 out of Page. The schedule is posted on the home page at www.3riversbass.com

Member Fees and Entry Fees are as follows:

UBTT Member Fee: $40/person
3 Rivers Member Fee: $40/person
UBTT Entry Fee $140/team
3 Rivers Entry Fee $120/team

I am currently working on how the sign up will work for this season. I understand it is a pain to make everyone show up at the sign up meeting and vice versa it is a pain to chase down everyone that doesn't show up to the meeting for payment and boat numbers and I am not sure there is a perfect scenario to accommodate both. Along with sign up I am looking at how we do the awards, generally I have to rush to get the results in order, then get all the names on the envelope and run up to the pavilion to find half the people who cashed checks not there and very few if any people who didn't cash checks there. Once I have a little more clarity on how these will be handled I will provide it to you.

2023 Championship Day 1 Bass Cat Boats Ziems Ford Corners Farmers Market, New Mexico

Our first weekend of tournaments is this coming weekend April 29 and April 30. Each day is a separate event.

I was hoping to have a pre-season sign up meeting but with my schedule I just wasn't able to make it happen. The pre-tournament meeting will be Friday April 28th at San Juan Marine. Sign up will take place from 5-6 and the meeting and boat draw will begin at 6 pm.

The meeting is MANDATORY meaning at least one member of your team must be in attendance. You will NOT be able to sign up at the lake, so if you plan to fish either day you must be signed up by 6 pm on Friday.

The meeting will begin with handing out plaques from last year, then we will proceed with the reading of the rules followed by drawing chips for your boat number. Launch and weigh-in time will be determined at the pre-tournament meeting.
We will be running both UBTT and 3 Rivers in conjunction again this year. I am sure some of you saw the Facebook post from Allen that the cost of insurance has gone up so Allen is charging an extra $10/person. I will be speaking to the insurance company tomorrow to see if there is a way around that for us since I carry dual insurance plans, one plan for UBTT and one for 3 Rivers. So at a minimum the member fees and entry fees are as follows:

If you are fishing both circuits both days your total buy in per team would be $600. (potentially $640 depending on how my call with the insurance company goes)

Forewarning, I have 2 boat deliveries scheduled for this week, potentially a day at Vallecito helping get their rental fleet ready for the season and a day helping a customer launch his pontoon boat/houseboat at Navajo on top of putting the finishing touches on this weekend's tournament. My time this week will be limited if you call and I don't answer or return your call it's not personal, I'll see you Friday night at the meeting. If you're calling to tell me you wont make it to the meeting we'll see you at the next event in June. If you have a question or an issue with your boat call the shop 505-334-2717 and ask for Sheldon, he has a schedule and can tell you if we can get you in. We'll do everything we can to try and get you ready for the event!
