A lot of good engineering work happens over email and video calls. Some conversations still go better in person.

That was the value of the 2026 Greater New England Design-2-Part Show in Marlborough, Massachusetts, which Evolution was proud to co-sponsor alongside our partners at Nanotec. Over two days at the Royal Plaza Trade Center, our team stepped away from the screen to talk directly with the engineers, buyers, and operations leaders who design, build, and improve machines every day.

An automation company was looking to automate a specific electric dispensing system for their end user. The application required a solution capable of delivering accurate, repeatable material delivery while maintaining flexibility in the dispensing process.

We provided a complete dispensing solution built around the Graco Electric Variable Ratio (EVR) system. The EVR is an electric meter, mix, and dispense platform designed for the delivery of two-component sealants and adhesives. Its continuous flow and variable ratio capabilities allow applications to maintain consistent bead profiles while giving operators greater control over material usage and dispensing performance.

What a day on the course! The Windsor Golf Outing brought together customers, partners, and teammates at Ambassador Golf Club for a day of great golf, great conversation, and even better company.

This week, our team turned an overcast day into a bright one.

We donated our demo truck to Kids Coalition Against Hunger , a nonprofit fighting childhood hunger here at home and around the world. Once it's modified, repainted, and rebranded, the truck will join their fleet as another mobile food delivery vehicle — getting meals to the families and communities who need them most.

Rain or shine, this is what showing up looks like. It's also what our Heart to Care value means to us in practice, not just on paper.

Labor Day gave our teams across Evolution Motion Solutions a chance to pause and celebrate together, each location marking the holiday in its own way.
Whether it was a lunch, a cookout, or just time together before the long weekend, the moments looked a little different depending on where you were, but the appreciation behind them was the same.

As customer expectations evolve, machine technology must evolve with them.

𝗖𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗿 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗲
A concrete mixer manufacturer needed a better control solution for its front-loading concrete mixers after its previous system failed to meet operator expectations for performance, consistency, and usability. The challenge required more than a simple controls upgrade—it called for a smarter, future-ready hydraulic system.

𝗦𝗼𝗹𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻
Evolution partnered closely with the company and Bosch Rexroth to engineer a new hydrostatic drum drive solution using a variable-displacement pump and a variable-bent-axis motor with custom settings tailored specifically to the mixers. Rexroth’s FADI simulation software helped validate the design quickly and reduce development guesswork, allowing the teams to move efficiently from concept to prototype.

By combining the manufacturer’s machine expertise with Evolution’s hydraulic controls knowledge and Rexroth’s software and mobile machinery capabilities, the team delivered a solution that not only solved the immediate challenge but improved operator experience and helped future-proof the machine platform.
