Pierce County Farm Bureau held its annual meeting on Thursday, Oct. 8 at the Eagles in Rugby with around 60 in attendance.

Representative Jon Nelson spoke on Measure 1 and 2. Senator Jerry Klein also attended. Calvin Benson, NDFB Policy Director, gave a detailed update on what has been happening politically in the state and at the national level, and also spoke on NDFB's support of Measure 1. President Travis Burgard led the meeting and Nodak Agent Steve Mueller gave an update on the new things happening at Nodak. Megan Nemec highlighted member benefits and gave an overview of NDFB Health Plans.

Oliver County Farm Bureau held its annual meeting at the Square Butte golf course on October 5. After a delicious meal of meatballs and mashed potatoes, those attending heard from the director of the Oliver County Soil Conservation District, JD Hanson, and Rhonda Kelsch, Executive Director of the North Dakota Association of Soil Conservation Districts.
