The time we spend visiting with the veterans, hearing their stories, and sharing some laughs is what makes this event so special to us.

Despite some gusty winds, it was a perfect day for our Safety Awareness Run! Our ride took us to Deane Park where we stopped for a picnic lunch, enjoyed the riverside scenery, walked down to the lake, and checked out the unique “Echo Rock.”

On this Red Shirt Friday, the AMVETS Riders proudly stand united to Remember Everyone Deployed.

Today also marks the 22nd. A day we change our profile picture to “We Got You” in honor of the veterans and military members battling su***de, depression, PTSD, and silent struggles. The number 22 serves as a reminder that too many of our heroes fight battles long after they come home.
