On Saturday, joined the fun during the final day of Happy Harry's RibFest at the FARGODOME for Touch-A-Truck Day. Families got an up-close look at our apparatus, equipment and interacted with the crew members who work to save lives every day.

A big 'thank you' to everyone who stopped by, braved the heat and took a moment to connect. Events like this are some of our favorites. πŸš’πŸ”₯

At approximately 2:38 p.m. on Saturday, June 6, the Fargo Fire Department was dispatched to a report of a structure fire at 721 14th Street North in Fargo.

Upon arrival, firefighters observed the exterior of the residence on fire from the steps extending to the door and the door frame. Firefighters were able to quickly extinguish the fire and limit the fire damage to the exterior of the structure. The interior sustained minor smoke and water damage. A damage estimate is not yet available. No individuals were displaced as a result of this fire.

Additionally, all residents were outside the structure prior to the fire starting, and firefighters were able to safely remove three dogs from the home without injury, upon their arrival on scene.

The cause of the fire was later determined to have started due to a plugged-in electronic device that overheated on the front step. No additional information is available at this time.

The Fargo Fire Department responded to the scene with four engines, one ladder truck and one command vehicle. The Fargo Police Department and Sanford Ambulance assisted at the scene.
