Fall is right around the corner, and Churchill County Parks & Recreation needs YOU!
We have some exciting events coming up this season, and we need community volunteers to help make them a success! From the No Hill 100 Century Bike Tour 🚴♀️ to the Scarecrow Factory 🎃, Haunted House 👻, Ugly Sweater 5K 🏃♀️, and Christmas at the Cottage 🎄—there are plenty of opportunities to get involved!
Whether you can give us a few hours or help with multiple events, every volunteer makes a difference!

NOTICE OF TEMPORARY OFFICE CLOSURE
Due to the failure of the building's air conditioning system over the course of this week, and forecasted extreme heat conditions, the office will be temporarily closed to in-person visitors effective June 17, 2026, through June 22, 2026, or until repairs are completed.
This decision has been made to protect the health and safety of employees and visitors during the current heat event.
Staff will remain available remotely to provide services by phone, email, and virtual appointment during normal business hours.
