Hi! This is Barbie Hertz, Chair of the Labor Day Parade! I'd like to take the time to say thank you to all of the members in our club who helped make this a successful parade. I could not do this without each and everyone one of you! It was a great team effort!

Thank you to all of the local police officers, the NAS Color Guard and announcers who volunteered their time during the parade. Each one of you are appreciated very much!

We appreciate all of the people who volunteered to be judges, helped with the set up and tear down of popups and sound systems for the parade!

Thank you for the street sweepers who came after and cleaned up and made our community clean after the parade!

Thank you Fallon Auto Mall for loaning us trucks to use in the parade to drive our Grand Marshalls and other Dignitaries!! We appreciate your generosity each year that makes it possible for our participants to "ride in style"!

Thank you to Marshall's Septic for the porta potty delivery! Whimseys for printing the numbers and some of the announcer's scripts and Chris Webb for helping with parade forms and judging calculations!

Thanks to anyone else I may have overlooked, but did not mean to!

Most of all thanks to the participants and to our Educators who provide invaluable knowledge to this community!

I have had the privilege of serving the community as chair of this parade for many years after Lion Tom Lammel retired from the position. Thank you all for your support and kindness!

Happy Labor Day! We will be posting winners within 24 hours and having an award ceremony the 1st Thursday of October. Those who win will receive an invitation. We still have 2 awards that were not picked up from last year. They will be available at the awards ceremony as well. They are for Hillside Dairy and the Churchill Haunters.
