As you plan your Halloween festivities, we hope you add the Library to your agenda! Come to the Library after school on Thursday the 29th for a variety of Halloween activities including crafts for all ages, a photo booth, and a spooky storytime for big kids! Costumes are strongly encouraged but not required.

Do you have old stuffed animals or extra yarn you'd like to donate? Bring them to the Library so they can be part of a spooky crafting project later this month!

Are you coming to the Library today for the magic show? Magician Roman Spinale will be here at 11:00 a.m today, October 3rd!

We've added a surprise to our October calendar! Come to the Library next Saturday for a magic show featuring Roman Spinale. If you're up for a trip to Reno that afternoon, we have an extra surprise for you! Search the Library for a hidden QR code that will earn you a ticket to the Spellbinders gala performance at the Pioneer Center at 3 p.m.

Washoe County Library, your book is having lots of fun here with us in Churchill County, but we'll get it back home this weekend!

How are your gardens doing this season? If your plants are producing lots of seeds, we'd love to have some for our seed library! Just put them in a resealable bag and write the name of the plant on the bag. Please bring your seed donations to the Library desk. Librarians love counting things!

Our librarians, Magdalena & Ashlee, are back from Alabama and happily serving our patrons. They are both incredibly lucky and thankful; Ashlee won the Grand Prize raffle to attend next year's conference in Milwaukee, and Magdalena won 1 year of ARSL registration. Thank you, ARSL & NSLAPR!
