The NFR Photographers for 2026 have been announced, and we’re beyond proud, excited, and honestly, not surprised that our good friend and Battle Born Ambassador, Hailey Rae Hurst, will be returning to Las Vegas in December. 📸🤠⭐️
This Battle Born Broncs OG puts in the miles and shows up for us in Fallon year after year, even fresh off hip surgery, to capture some of the greatest moments in rodeo history.
We’re lucky to call her a friend and even luckier to have her in our Battle Born family. ♥️
Congratulations, Hailey! Cheers to another incredible rodeo season! 🙌🏽⭐️🤠

We just found out Battle Born Broncs has been nominated for Best of Fallon this year, alongside some other pretty incredible annual Fallon events. 🤠
Anyone who produces an event of this size knows how much time, money, planning, sweat, sleepless nights (and a few minor freak outs) go into making it happen. 😂😅 But the truth is, the people who help make Battle Born Broncs what it is are the ones who deserve to be recognized. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
From our volunteers and vendors, to our incredible committee’s and production crew, sponsors, supporters at the City of Fallon and the Rafter 3C, and every single one of you who buys a ticket and comes out to support us, thank you. We truly couldn’t do it without you. 🫶🏽
We’re incredibly grateful for the nomination. And while we’d obviously love to bring home the win, we’ll also be voting for so many other nominees in all the categories because this community is full of people and businesses who work hard to make Fallon such a great place to live, work and raise a family.
We may not campaign as well as some, but if you’d like to throw a vote our way, we sure wouldn’t turn it down. ✅😉
Thank you for continuing to show up for Battle Born Broncs as we grow each year. We’re pretty dang lucky to get to bring such elite competition to our hometown. 🤠
And win or lose… there will be a Part ✌️follow up post, because we have too many amazing photos of all of you to share! Thank you 52 Photography for your generosity. (Be sure to give him a follow and then go to Josh’s website to get all the pics!) 📸

Nothing makes us smile more than watching these young athletes put in the work at our PRCA Youth Camps each year in April. 🙌🏽
Thank you to the families who travel to Fallon for our youth events from all over the US and Canada, and to the professionals who spend the time pouring their hearts into coaching the next generation of rodeo athletes! 🤠
Good luck to the cowboys who won big in Fallon and are headed to Vegas! 🎲 We’ll be cheering for ya!

THE COWBOY YOU WANT RIDING BESIDE YOU
There are cowboys in a rodeo arena trying to win money. And then there are cowboys whose job is to make sure those cowboys get home. Bobby Marriott belongs to the second group.
For more than three decades, Marriott has been one of professional rodeo's pickup men. He's worked four National Finals Rodeos. He's ridden alongside some of the greatest roughstock cowboys in the sport. He's worked Pendleton, Reno, Sheridan, Red Bluff and rodeos across America. And he's still doing it.
But here's what makes the job interesting. A pickup man doesn't get eight seconds. His job begins when somebody else's eight seconds end.
A bronc rider has just been aboard an animal bred to buck as hard as it possibly can. The horse is still bucking. The cowboy may be exhausted. Something may have gone wrong. And galloping alongside him is another cowboy saying, in effect: I've got you.
That's Bobby Marriott. The great pickup men possess an unusual combination of abilities. They have to be exceptional horsemen. They have to understand bucking horses. They have to read cowboys. They have to rope. They have to anticipate trouble before it becomes trouble. And they have to ride into situations most people would instinctively ride away from.
Perhaps most importantly...they have to be trusted. Because when you're sitting on a bucking horse that's still trying to unload you after the whistle blows, you're not particularly interested in the pickup man's résumé. You just want to know he's going to be exactly where he's supposed to be.
For more than 30 years, Bobby Marriott has been that cowboy.
And maybe that's the greatest compliment you can give a pickup man. Not how many people in the grandstands know his name.
But how many cowboys behind the bucking chutes do.
