Work has begun on improvements to Columbus Park.

This project is part of ongoing efforts to enhance community spaces and ensure they remain welcoming to all.

A repurposed response trailer has officially been transformed into a new Mobile Public Safety Command Center, designed to enhance communication, coordination, and emergency response during city events and major incidents.

The Command Center will support police, fire, EMS, and emergency management teams and will be present at waterfront events and community gatherings throughout the summer.
