Nate Sutherland put on a dominant performance, securing the overall TQ and taking the win at the 2026 ROAR Carpet Nationals.
Powered by the GenX Series Spec Motor, paired with the XR**ed 6400 battery and HB110 ULCG Servo, this combination proved exactly what it was built for — precision, consistency, and winning at the highest level.

4WD Modified Buggy – 2nd Overall
Brennan Schimmel went head-to-head with Broc Champlin in a battle that came down to A3. After an intense fight, Brennan secured a hard-earned 2nd place finish, showing the strength and consistency of the program under pressure.

2WD Modified Buggy – 3rd Overall
Brennan backed it up with another podium, capturing 3rd overall in 2WD Modified Buggy.
Both modified entries were equipped with the Phoenix Modified Series Motors, XR**ed Batteries, and HB Servos — delivering elite-level performance across multiple classes.

Congrats to Brennan Schimmel on taking the Round 1 TQ in 4wd Modified here at the Roar carpet nationals!

While we want everyone to get their hands on the new 22X-4 2.0, we know many racers are still rocking their original 22X-4 or 22X-4 Elite!

Did you know a large majority of parts from the new 22X-4 2.0 will work on your original 22X-4?

Some may require additional parts, like putting the 22X-4 2.0 gear boxes on your original 22X-4 as highlighted on this graphic!

Schedule Roar Carpet Off Road Nationals You can sign up at the track on Thursday. If you can't make it, message us and we will get you signed up.

Wednesday Doors open at 12pm for pit setup. Spec Tire sales will start at 1pm. Once glued, you must return to the Hobby Shop for inspection and Roar labeling on each set bought for racing. You must run your Labeled tires in all seeding rounds, Qualifying Rounds and Mains. Each Driver is allowed 4 sets of tires and one additional set if you make the A Main. Track closes at 9pm

Thursday Doors open at 7:30am and Practice starts at 9am. Practice will be 4:00 minute heats setup by Class and posted on Wednesday.
ROAR motor Tech will begin once they are setup.

Friday doors open at 7:30am Practice starts at 9am followed by 2 seeding rounds and Qualifier Round 1. The track will have practice session after Round 1. We will determine how long practice will run after Round 1 is over.

Saturday Doors open at 7:30am, Racing starts at 9am with Round 2, followed by Round 3 and 4.

Sunday doors open at 7:30, Racing Starts at 9am with Mains. Triple A Mains.

This will cover your practice fee for Thursday and any other practice sessions we have after qualifying. We need to do this to stay under our 15% non-member races for 2026 or we could lose the non-profit status.

If your coming with a group of racers and want to sit together that are not a Factory Team, you need to call 978-337-0429 to set this up.

We are looking for Short Course Racers to sign up. Roar will only run the class with 6 entries. Let's make it happen!
