Our village keeps growing and kindness keeps showing up!

For the first time at THRIVE, three of us, Laura, Joan, and Maria were all unable to be there to serve. It was a beautiful reminder that THRIVE is more than a few individuals, it’s a team effort. 🥰🙏🏻

Our volunteers, Chelsea Caisse Marlene Moreira Santos Lynn Ann Carolin Jane Berry stepped up, took ownership, and continued serving our unsheltered neighbors with the same heart, dignity, and commitment that define THRIVE For Humanity.😻😍🥰

Lunches were marvelously brought by First Christian Congregational Church of Swansea
Thank you Lisa and team for all you brought! Delicious! 🥰🙏🏻
Lisa’s little five year old neighbor came over to decorate a few lunch bags!
It takes a village of all ages! 🥰

Thank you to Maria from Revival Church for donating bread and yogurt. Every donation helps us serve more people with dignity and compassion.🥰🙏🏻

Thank you to Sarah’s dad for donating three bags of clothing.🥰

Thank you to our own beautiful Marlene for donating three bags of clothing.🥰

One meal. One donation. One act of kindness at a time.🥰🙏🏻

Please consider-A Simple Act of Kindness Can Make a Big Difference

One of the most meaningful ways you can help THRIVE is by providing bag lunches for those who may not know where their next meal is coming from.

We currently have open dates that need to be filled, and we’re asking our community to step up and choose a day to donate lunches. Whether you sign up on your own, with your family, friends, church group, or coworkers, your generosity will directly impact lives in our community.

A bag lunch may seem small, but to someone who is hungry, it is a reminder that they are seen, valued, and cared for.

If you are able to help, please choose an available date and join us in sharing hope, one lunch at a time. 🥰

Thank you for being part of a community that cares for its neighbors.

Thursday-January 4

Behind every meal served, every shower provided, and every conversation held is a team of dedicated people working to ensure our unsheltered neighbors are seen, heard, and supported.
Together, we are making a difference, one conversation, one person, and one act of kindness at a time. 🙏🏻

THRIVE did a red ribbon thing on Wednesday!

THRIVE for Humanity was honored to celebrate a beautiful ribbon cutting on Wednesday in partnership with HealthFirst Family Care Center, Inc.

We are deeply grateful for the family, friends, donors, collaborators, community leaders, and politicians who came out to support this important moment. Your presence spoke volumes.

This was more than a ribbon cutting. It was a powerful reminder to our unsheltered neighbors that they are not forgotten, they are seen, heard, valued, and loved.

Together, we are building a place of dignity, compassion, hope, and connection for those navigating some of life’s hardest moments.

Thank you to everyone who continues to stand with us and believe in the mission of THRIVE for Humanity.

Some Saturdays remind us that community is the greatest gift of all.

Saturday, May 16 we gathered around an amazing lunch generously donated by Kim Gosson Almeida; delicious grinders, a multitude of snacks, and plenty of smiles to go around. It was a beautiful and people came together, shared fellowship, and left encouraged and uplifted. All 70 gone!
Thank you!🥰

A heartfelt thank you to our incredible and faithful volunteers who always know how to pivot at a moment’s notice and make everything come together so seamlessly. Your servant hearts never go unnoticed.🥰

And special appreciation to from SouthCoast Health, whose words always speak life, hope, and encouragement into someone who truly needs to hear it. Your compassion makes a lasting difference.🥰

Moments like these are a reminder that kindness, community, and caring for one another still shine brightly.🥰
