New deck coating! Original surface was a “diy” coating (purchased at Home Depot). These, over the counter products, DO NOT provide a waterproof barrier and fail very quickly.
This deck was over a dining/kitchen and water destroyed the ceiling inside the residence.
Fix your old deck now before more damage is caused by inferior products.
