Tint is installed on the inside of car windows. First it is laid against the outside of the window and cut to fit before being carefully installed on the inside.

Make sure that you check your local laws about window tint and the percentage that they consider too dark to be legal. They not only vary from state to state, but they also can determine what windows are even legal to tint at all.
Five-door cars have become more popular recently, and many of them are known for having windows that give drivers a lot of visibility. This can give them as many as ten windows that are specially designed for the car, but a tinting expert can custom fit the tint to them.
One of the benefits of having window tint installed on your vehicle is that it helps you save on fuel during the warm summer months. This is because the tint keeps your interior cool, enabling you to run the AC less, and easing the use of your compressor and engine.
One of the benefits of carbon auto window film is that it is black in color, giving you the look of dyed film with the performance level of hybrid film. Generally, carbon films are able to block 40 percent of the infrared heat that enters through window glass.
If you don’t have access to covered parking during the day, you may quickly discover that your interior is taking a brutal direct hit from the sun. Having your windows tinted is a fast way to provide sun protection when you can’t park in the shade.
Unfortunately, it can be downright dangerous to drive at certain times of day because of the glare produced by the angle of the sun. If you don’t already have your windows tinted, doing so could help you to have a safer driving experience.
Without window tint, the windows of your car will transmit the heat, IR, and UV rays from the sun into the car, damaging components over the long term. Window tints work to absorb or reflect the sun’s energy, protecting your car while making the interior much more comfortable.
If you want your auto window tint to achieve ultimate heat reduction without having to darken your windows too much, then ceramic tinting film is a great option. The tint is generally gray in color but offers excellent performance characteristics.
Metalized or “sputtered” window tinting film is just one option. Similar to deposited film, sputtered film is created using a chemical process that affixes a mixture of fine metallic particles onto the film’s surface. The particle mixture transmits visible light, but deflects solar heat.
Getting the car tint done correctly the first time is incredibly important, since the process isn't easily reversible. Fortunately, a car tinting expert can go over your options with you to make sure you have the right tint shade you want.
