After many years of serving our community with good food and warm hospitality, Kindred Kitchen Café will permanently close on Friday, January 30th. This was a difficult decision, and we are deeply grateful for every customer, partner, volunteer, and supporter who has been part of our story. Your kindness and loyalty have meant everything to us.

Please note:
· Our catering services will continue without interruption
· Our job training programs remain fully active and will continue creating pathways to opportunity for the community

Thank you for being part of the Kindred Kitchen family. We look forward to continuing to serve you through our catering and training programs.

💜Today is our last day operating our cafe on Broadway. We hope to see some of our favorite customers for one last goodbye, sharing of memories, and maybe one last sandwich before we close our doors permanently.

Kindred will live on through our catering and job training programs, but we will miss seeing and serving you all daily. Thank you so much for your support over the years.

Kindred Kitchen is closed today. We will be open for our usual hours again tomorrow.

Kindred Café will close permanently, with its final day of operations on Friday, January 30, 2026. This decision comes after extensive evaluation by Housing Hope’s Strategic Leadership Team and Board as we work to bring the organization closer to a breakeven budget.

Ongoing financial challenges across our housing portfolio—historically used to subsidize our social enterprise programs - have made it no longer feasible to continue operating the café. While this was an incredibly difficult decision, it is a necessary step to strengthen the long‑term sustainability of our mission-focused work.

Even as the café closes, Kindred Kitchen’s catering and contract food production services will continue, and the Culinary Training Academy will remain fully active, providing meaningful training and employment pathways for community members.

We are deeply grateful for the years of support and engagement from our customers and community.
