Here’s the thing, there are times when you realize that you hurt someone, maybe you didn’t realize it at the time, but when you do, integrity says we admit the hurt we caused, & ask if there is anything we can do to repair the breach. From childhood through early adulthood, admitting wrongdoing was worse than physical pain. The result, a reservoir of shame. My resistance was the fear of being rejected. The truth, I was already rejecting myself. Also rejecting healing, connection, being human, freedom, & peace. Is there anyone that you’ve hurt & you haven’t acknowledged their pain? It’s never too late.

Today is a reel it in, pull back day. This week presented some challenges that I didn’t handle so well. After turning in, I realized that I hadn’t been consistent with my vitamin regimen; prayer, meditation, quiet, them boundaries, pauses. How was your vitamin regimen this week?

Your body deserves to take breaks when you’re tired, eat when you’re hungry, mess up when you’re not your best, cry when you feel the tears in your eyes, refuse s*x when you’re not feeling it for any reason, say no & mean it, even if someone is angry, hurt, or confused. Your body keeps a tally of when you are & not treating your body as sacred.
