At Tru Form, we believe great design goes far beyond aesthetics. It’s about creating a home that feels intentional, functional, and deeply personal. Every tiny home we build is thoughtfully crafted with the understanding that small spaces should never feel limiting. From the flow of the layout to the placement of natural light, every detail matters.
Our team spends countless hours designing homes that are not only beautiful, but truly livable. Spaces that feel warm, open, and inspiring. Spaces that support your everyday life while still feeling elevated and uniquely yours.
In this video, you’ll hear directly from our designer and co-owner, Malia — the creative mind behind the thoughtful details that make a Tru Form home feel so different. With a deep passion for intentional living and timeless design, she carefully considers every inch of each home to ensure it feels both functional and expansive.
Because at Tru Form, we don’t believe tiny homes should feel tiny.
Here are 9 design principles we believe can completely transform the way a tiny home feels, making it more open, comfortable, and connected to the way you truly want to live.
The kitchen in the Urban Park Max is essentially the same size and functionality as many full-size home kitchens — just designed more intentionally. Full-size appliances, extensive counter space, tons of cabinetry, and a layout that actually allows multiple people to cook comfortably at the same time.

This Urban Gable Park was thoughtfully designed for our audience. The kitchen is fully equipped with maple slab cabinets, an induction cooktop, full size fridge, and dishwasher. The bathroom carries the same detail. It has a concrete vessel sink, terrazzo tile floors, and matte black fixtures.
The bedroom has tons of natural light, built in storage, a full size closet, and a personal deck space.

This 28-ft. Urban Kootenay tiny home has deep muted navy walls, clear cedar ceilings, modern white painted window trim, hickory-colored flooring and butcher block countertops, we were amazed how much simple beauty we were able to create in this tiny space.
This tiny home owner opted to add an electric fireplace in a custom tile, and added pops of green with subway tile backsplash, glass cabinet pulls and a unique pedestal sink. The living area features the cutest and coziest bump-out couch nook, and this model features a main floor sleeping loft and an extra storage loft.
The bathroom includes a built-in washer/dryer, a stand up tiled shower and standard flush toilet, but plentiful custom cabinetry for lots of storage. Did you see the hidden litter box?!

Tru Form Tiny’s Cascade Max is a beautiful park model designed with functionality and design in mind.
A beautifully designed and spacious living layout that will surprise you for a home just under 400 square-feet. As you enter through the front door, you step into a cozy living room with comfortable seating and ample natural light flowing through tons of large windows.
High ceilings, large openings to the outdoors, and make this home bright and airy. The exterior architecture is unique and successfully achieves stunning curb appeal.
The living room is an open layout with the kitchen, which is equipped with everything a home would need, including a full-size refrigerator, full range, microwave, dishwasher, and a deep sink. The cabinets are made of high-quality poplar wood, and have plenty of storage space for your cooking essentials. The pantry is huge, and comes standard with 5 deep pullout trays (pictured in these images!)
The kitchen includes a dining area counter, with seating for 3-4 people, perfect for socializing, dining, and working.
There is a spacious bathroom with a shower, incinerating toilet, hickory vanity, and a 40” wide sink with a mirror and decorative sconce. Hallways in a tiny home take up a lot of valuable space. By making the bathroom walk-through, the bathroom can be significantly larger and roomier. The bathroom is equipped with beautiful quality modern fixtures, like Delta Faucets, a freestanding tub, and a stacking vented Washer and Drier.
In the back of the home you’ll find the awesome Murphy bed that transforms into an office space. This home also have a large closet and tall ceilings.
The Cascade park model tiny house is designed with comfort and convenience in mind. It features high-quality finishes and appliances, making it a perfect home, or escape, for anyone who wants to downsize to a healthy, beautiful home.
