🌟 Have you heard about The Arc Lane County’s Mobile Sensory Zone? 🌟

Our Mobile Sensory Zone provides a welcoming, calming, and inclusive space for children, teens, adults, and families who may need a break from noise, crowds, or overstimulation while attending community events. 💜

The space includes sensory tools, calming activities, comfortable seating, and free information about local programs and family resources.

Are you planning a public community event? We would love to be part of it! Reach out to us, and we will work with you to get your event on our calendar.

✨ There is no cost to bring the Mobile Sensory Zone to eligible public events!

Help us create more welcoming and accessible community experiences where everyone can feel safe, supported, and included. 🌈

📩 Contact Sina Gilbert our Program Manager for Families Connected via email [email protected] to learn more or request the Mobile Sensory Zone for your upcoming event.

Here in western Oregon we’re getting ready to swap out the cold and damp season for the hot and dry season. Either way, being unsheltered is a health hazard! Constant exposure to the elements can lead to illness or worsening of chronic conditions.

Are you or someone you know currently homeless or at risk of losing housing? Check out our homelessness resources page at our IDD Housing Help website: https://iddhousinghelp.org/homeless/

Please share with your networks to help us reach people in need!

Living on your own sounds wonderful, but it’s not all fun and games. However, living on your own doesn’t have to be scary if you have a good support system and you know what to do!
If it’s time for you or a loved one to start thinking about what it would be like to live independently, here is our collection of tips and peer-created videos for independent living. https://iddhousinghelp.org/independent-living/
