This morning just before 5:30 AM, ESF received a mutual aid request from Oakridge Fire for assistance with a structure fire on Fairy Glen Dr.

Battalion 3, Engine 13, and Engine 16 responded to assist in stopping the fire’s spread. Four structures on three properties were impacted with no reported injuries. Red Cross was activated to assist the displaced residents.

This morning at 6:21 AM, ESF was dispatched to a reported RV fire in the 5000 block of Franklin Blvd in Springfield. Two engines, one truck , a Battalion Chief, and a fire marshal responded to the scene.

Engine 4 arrived to a fully involved fifth wheel trailer with direct fire impingement to the overhead utility and power lines.

The fire was under control 6 minutes after their arrival. Utility lines suffered minor damage and power to the area was not impacted.

A search of the involved trailer was performed, and no victims were located.
