Start appreciating the people in your life who DON’T blow smoke up your arse.

The ones who tell you the truth.

The ones who challenge you.

The ones who call you out when you’re wrong instead of feeding your feelings just to make you feel better.

Because sometimes your feelings and emotions aren’t telling you the truth.

Sometimes you need someone who cares enough to say:

“Mate, you’re wrong.”
“You need to look at yourself.”
“You can do better than this.”

And that person might p**s you off in the moment… but they might be exactly the person you need.

🔥 Great friends tell you the truth because they want you to become better.

They’re not trying to destroy your confidence.
They’re trying to build your character.

Be careful of people who constantly agree with everything you say just to stroke your ego.

Someone who lies to you to make you feel good isn’t necessarily your friend.

A real friend will sometimes tell you what you DON’T want to hear because they care about who you’re becoming.

So today, appreciate those people.

One year ago today, we started talking more serious after 15 years of friendship and a beautiful child together…

I don’t think either of us knew where that conversation would lead. Since then, we’ve laughed until we couldn’t breathe, lifted each other through the heavy moments, chased dreams side by side, and found our way back to something we thought we’d never find.

Because of you, I’ve been able to reconnect with our daughter, Holly. Watching that bond grow has been one of the greatest gifts of my life, and I’ll never take it for granted.

I created this song
“Something About Us” because it isn’t just a song—it’s our story. New beginnings , healing old wounds, building a strong stable family, and realizing that sometimes life brings people back together at exactly the right time.

Thank you for believing in me, standing with me, and reminding me it’s never too late to rewrite your story.
