For entrepreneurs in East Multnomah County, the Small Business Development Center at MHCC is a trusted resource for business advising and education.

Offering classes on topics like social media marketing, AI, and startup basics (many available in Spanish), the Mt. Hood SBDC advised 266 clients, helped launch 33 new businesses, and supported business owners in securing $1,255,548 in capital infusion in 2025.

The Clatsop Small Business Development Center and CEDR plays a vital role in empowering small business owners in Northwest Oregon by providing trusted, confidential guidance from startup through growth.

Through no-cost one-on-one advising, specialized workshops, and advanced business programs, the Clatsop SBDC advised 212 clients, helped small businesses create 31 new jobs in local communities, and assisted 17 new businesses in launching.
