We’re proud to support a plan that puts safety, connection, and community first.

At Pretty Security, we love engaging with the youth and the broader Erie community. With this new plan in place, we hope to see all demographics coming together to enjoy safe, fun, and inclusive events downtown.

UPDATE: Tonight’s Movie Monday event has been postponed due to severe weather arriving in the area around 7:00 PM this evening. Stay tuned for more info on the changed schedule. The Goonies movie night in Perry Square is postponed for now due to severe weather.

We want to take the opportunity to discuss some changes to our upcoming Movie Monday events:

• Events will begin as close as possible to dusk, around 8:30 pm
• We will have added security personnel in the park from our friends at Pretty Security, a minority- and woman-owned security firm based in Erie, to assist with keeping everyone safe and enforcing our event rules.
• We have partnered with the City of Erie Government Police Dept. to add two additional on-duty police officers to the next Movie Monday event to support our staff.
• No one will be allowed behind the screen or on the stage or stage steps to keep the projector and equipment safe.

It is important to us that everyone attending our events feel safe and welcomed in Downtown. We are extremely grateful for the community support for the Movie Mondays series. We want to make sure this event continues to grow and be a draw for all members of our community. We also want to ensure that the youth attending our events feel safe and supported as well.

Our next Movie Monday will be Monday, July 14th in Perry Square featuring Moana!
