Dad didn’t get to make the trip with me but with the help of a few amazing people I am able to try my luck at the million this week.

Bowling Green / INDY - Recap

It definetly didn’t go as planned, we started our two week tour with hurting one of dads motors and at bowling green I fell out of the drivers seat round 3 of the first race and round 1 of the second.

We drove straight to Indy, set up camp and got straight to work. We pulled the motor out of dads car and eventually found ourselves taking a trip to Michigan down at Steve Morris’ shop. We left around 10:00 and didn’t get back to the track until 2am and started putting the motor back in at 6am. Dads car was running great and then on our third qualifier we broke the bracket holding the fuel pump on and the safety kicked in and shut the car off. First round we had a tune up error we haven’t completely figured out yet and wouldn’t let dad rev the engine in the burnout.

First round of super comp was the race of the week, I had bo butner first round. Both even on the tree with a .003 light, I dropped infront of Bo to put it dead on zero and he did the same from behind to put it dead on 4. Second round I felt great but eventually let the team down turning it -.003 red.

We only have a few more races ahead of us this season. Tulsa in 1 week, leave straight from there and I go to St. Louis, and a week after that we have Dallas. Can’t wait to see what is in store for us these next few races!

Also/ if your a fan and your little ones would like to sit inside of a racecar please bring them over to our trailer, we’d be more than happy to make that happen. We had atleast 50 kids come and take a seat inside of the dragsters/ talk and ask questions and we enjoyed every moment of it.

Finally hitting the road. First headed to Bowling Green then to INDY!! My man Troy Slay got us hooked up with enough oil to last us the remainder of the year. We will have Trailer Security Products Stands and extension available.

After heading out to Pine Valley Raceway it did not disappoint, we got the top dragster running good again and we managed to get some seat time inside of Donald Thompson Stingray Corvette, which by the way went straight as an arrow.

All in all it was a good night and everything went better than anticipated.

Also this is the only video I have of the top dragster due to running out of storage mid run..

Some do not celebrate it, but we do.

Thank you to the brave men and women, home or away that partaked in D-Day!

To call it a long week is an understatement..

We managed to turn on 2 win lights out of the whole weekend between 3 cars and 2 races. Dad didn’t get to run the second race due to a broken magnet on the top dragsters balancer and finding some brass inside the filter on the stocker. I turned it red first round of the second race, due to some issues on the starting line running the least amount of delay this car has ever seen. We haven’t dug deep into either of the cars yet to figure out all of our issues but they will be resolved.

After our first night of being at the track, our generator on the motor home decided to throw the belt off the water pump and quit working but thankfully for having Donald Thompson being the good man he is, he let us borrow one of his generators to piggy back off of the spare we had. One the trip back home late Saturday evening I trusted the 6.0 fuel gauge and ended up running dads truck out of diesel.. I tried priming the fuel system up with diesel but then found out a mile later I instead primed the oil tank up with diesel, completely destroying my fathers motor.

We got to hang out with some good friends and setup shop for some even better family! We will be back and better!

Last weekend we took the trip on down to Pine Valley Raceway for some testing. Found some things that needed to be addressed, looking forward to next’s weekends bracket race and possible test session with three cars instead of our regular two.
