White Rice is getting ready to head to Michigan for the Shakedown at M’town 23! And we have a surprise!

Team White Rice has earned the Lights Out Hammer, the Clash of the Titans Helmet, and now a Gold Battle for the Thrones Throne!
2026 is not over yet, we have alot more to accomplish this year!

White Rice has a new brother. Something we've been working on in the background! Shout out to Tim over at Tim Bruner Fabrication He has completed the full cage/ chassis work and assembled the truck.
Off to the next stage!

I’m so proud of our team!!! We won the Throne!!! This was the toughest win for the team!!! I wanted to be there so bad with my son, but he had his first communion on Saturday. God first!

The week started out with problems. The cylinder head had some issues. The team spent the night and next morning putting in a new motor. We haven’t had engine problems in a while. The last few races we went to, they didn’t even have to put the car on projacks. After putting the car back together, they found some bad injectors and had to swap them.
Friday night, they went up to make another qualifying pass but the car couldn’t build boost.

They found out the turbo shaft was bent. Of course no one had a spare tiny 80mm laying arouna...lol Ulisses drove to a nearby shop that had some matching turbo parts that Wes from Precsion turbo was able to piece together for us. Shout out to the Preston Brothers and their father for the help. So they went to make another pass and the boost was still down. The team decided that the reassembled turbo, was too worn out.

So now Mike and Ulisses were off to a 10 hour drive round trip to Precision Turbo to get new replacement parts. They drove all night to get them for us. Made it back Saturday morning for one last qualifying pass. Huge shout out to Wes and Chris at Precision! Better but still some issues. Scrambling to find some parts to do a boost test… Eric Jarvis and Nick Bell also deserve a shout out. They both supplied us with materials that we used to weld up a custom block off fl**ge to test our system. Thanks again!

So they went over the whole car and found out our electric throttle body blade was bent. Fixed it and went to battle and won!

This was the toughest race for the team, not just against some serious competition, but having to deal with all the issues and still overcame everything to win!!! There is no quit in this team!!!

Thank you Chris Delgado, Eric LaFerriere, Mike Pabon, Ulisses, and Dave Aiwase. You guys are bad asses!!!

Team White Rice took home the Throne! Battle of the Thrones was a BATTLE! But we overcame every single obstacle! We are currently traveling back to HQ but will have tons of content from the event and a thank you message later this week!
