Monette has been a frequent addition to our AG guest line up on & off for about 20 years -we've all lost track exactly how long it has been at this point!! Her long-time participation with us is treasured and so appreciated over the years. Her skills and good-natured vibe has always complimented and augmented the AG vibe so wonderfully. Not to mention her beautiful smile, too! We love ya, Mo!

We absolutely LOVE doing special events for organizations that reflect peace and love and kindness ….and kids! We were so happy that Kids for Peace invited us back this year (we did their fundraiser in 2024, too) to be a part of their 20th Gala Fundraiser at the lovely Alila Marea Resort in Carlsbad back in March.

With a mission statement of ”Uplifting Our World Through Love and Action”, serving this event was so very rewarding and so very much in alignment with what Atomic Groove is all about. This enthusiastic crowd of kind supporters immediately packed the dance floor after their generous fundraising program finished up with a resounding bang, and Atomic Groove joyfully took the stage.

Our 6 piece version of the band played an energetic and uplifting set, made extra special by the cameo appearance of two Performer Studentz from the Carrie Weiland Fitness/AG Fly Girlz Dance Class, Kirsten and Cindy. See Kirsten's testimonial below.

Coming off of our FUN-tastic appearance at the 45th Annual Fiesta del Sol Music Festival, we got right back into our HAPPY Friday night groove at our "Summer Happy Place" Dance Party Happy Hour at Belly Up. 🙂

A euphoric dance HAPPY crowd with about 20 groups of birthday celebrations (so many Geminis!!!), all smiling big, singing exuberantly and dancing with wild abandon. That's the very definition of HAPPY!

We featured our enthusiastic AG guests, AG Conga Girl Monette and AG soul vocalist Mark Jones.

The ever-evolving Performer Studentz from the Carrie Weiland Fitness/AG Fly Girlz Dance Class took the stage for a few songs with their always happy disposition, showcasing their continuing progress as performing dancers ala the AG Fly Girlz.

Atomic Girl Carrie, the AG Fly Girlz and the entire AG band consistently over-delivers with good vibez, as per usual, at these Happy Hours, for the past 20+ years! Never ever the same show.... ALWAYS the same FUN!

Wanna learn to dance like an Atomic Groove Fly Girl? Come take The AG Fly Girlz Dance Class, taught by Atomic Girl Carrie. Held at locally-owned boutique fitness facility MB Fit Studio in Solana Beach. Class is every Tuesday at 630p and select Saturdays at 1230p (next one: June 20th). Series #18 is in progress and runs thru all of June, plenty of time to learn some or all of the routine!
All levels welcome.

Please join us in wishing a very HAPPY birthday to our amazing keyboardist and Musical Director Rob Gironda!

Rob has been an original member of AG since 1995 and his musical prowess, keyboard skills, singing abilities and show directiorship helps AG stay on track, flourish and shine. That makes us all SO HAPPY!

He is HAPPIEST when he is behind his keyboard doing what he loves to do, and we love him for all that he brings to contribute to the AG magic for these 30+ years. We love ya, Rob!

WOWWOWWOW!

Fiesta del Sol 2026 this past Saturday was absolutely incredible!

Thank you to all the familiar friendly faces who came out to enjoy the 45th Annual FDS, as well as our own 30 year Atomic Groove/FDS-versary, our first one was in 1996!

Not only was the crowd amazing, the energy exchange was big and the vibez super high... but the SUN ("SOL") was actually out, for the first time in about 10 years for FDS.☀️

We're taking that as a sign that everything really IS gonna be alright.... we have such a good feelin' about that!

Big Shout Out to the Solana Beach Chamber of Commerce and the Belly Up for putting on another stellar event that keeps getting better & better every year. WE LOVE that you keep and including us. So blessed!
