Loren Lotus

Loren Lotus, creator of Lotus Retreats, is a passionate Yoga instructor inspired by spiritual traditions and Yogic teachings of the Earth. Loren hosts Lotus Retreats, a global community & retreat company that travels to unique locations around the world. Each retreat week is curated to offer Yogic practices, exploration in sacred nature & immersions with each country's culture. Loren also hosts workshops, ceremonies & medicine circles within her communities in Southern California. Her teachings incorporate the spiritual traditions of Yoga and biomechanical alignment of Kinesiology to create styles suitable for every yoga practitioner. Loren began her own Yoga practice in college where she studied Kinesiology and her fascination of the human body first stemmed. Throughout her journey of self-study and self-realization she’s found her true passion through the teachings of Yoga and creating a space of healing and compassion for the mind, body and spirit of others. She believes Yoga is a practice not only on the mat, but also off the mat, in the kitchen, in our relationships and in everyday life. As a yoga teacher and student of life, Loren strives to share her teachings and awareness of Yoga by guiding and supporting her students through their own personal practice. She holds a 500-hour Professional Program Certificate from YogaWorks in Los Angeles, 200-hour Certificate from Passion Yoga in Costa Rica, an 85-hour Pre-natal Certificate from La Lupa Via in Costa Rica and an 85-hour Kirtan Certificate from Bhakti Yoga Shala in Santa Monica, CA.
