🐾 Meet Elvi, your purr-fect pal! 🐾

This sweet 1½-year-old cowgirl is ready to find her forever home. She decided to fully participate in her photo session so that you can see her purr-sonality firsthand!

Elvi will follow you from room to room, curl up to watch TV with you, and flop into a "stop, drop, and roll" whenever she wants attention. She loves head pets, rubs against your legs, and displays the most adorable collection of sleeping positions (her favorite spot is your bed). She can be picked up, enjoys most pets, and gets even more affectionate as her trust grows.

Elvi's the type who:
💛 Is mellow, companionable, and independent, but loves to interact
💛 Is moderately playful and can entertain herself
💛 Enjoys wand toys, laser pointers, small soft toys, and catnip
💛 Loves high perches, window perches, cozy nooks, and a good scratching post

Her perfect home:
🏡 A calm, quiet household (she startles at loud noises)
🏡 No dogs, and no other cats. She wants to be your one and only!
🏡 Children 7+ who are gentle with her
🏡 Patient adopters who will give her several days to settle in. Treats and playtime help her warm up fast!

Elvi came to Rescue House as a young adult after being found abandoned while pregnant. She's past all that now and ready for a soft landing and a family of her own.
If you're looking for a loving, laid-back "belly up" companion for a quiet single-cat home, Elvi is waiting for you! 💕

Inquire to meet this special girl by visiting our website today.

🐾 Every senior cat deserves a complete health assessment 🐾

Every cat over 8 years old in our care receives a senior blood test panel. This way we can treat, stabilize or solve any health needs while they are in our care and we can ensure their health before adoption.

A CBC (Complete Blood Count) and Blood Chemistry Panel tell our vets everything they need to know: how the immune system is holding up, whether organs are functioning well, and if there's an underlying illness hiding beneath a healthy-looking coat. For senior cats especially, this isn't optional — it's the foundation of every treatment plan we build.

💙 $235 covers one full CBC + Chemistry Panel for one cat in our care.

As part of our Cause for Paws Fundraiser, please consider sponsoring a senior cat's bloodwork today. Every donation, big or small, helps us catch problems early and will give these cats the second chance they deserve.

Meet Murphy! 🐾 a sweet 6-month-old boy and professional tunnel zoomer!😻
Don't be fooled by this snoozy photo!

Murphy in a nutshell:
🏃 Chases his siblings around the house at top speed
🌀 Sprints through his tunnel like it's the Kitten 500
🛋️ Then crashes next to you for pets and cuddles
💛 Loves people (and most other pets!) and adapts easily to new places

Murphy's wish list:
🎣 Wand toys, trackballs, laser pointers, rattly mice, kickers, jingly toys, small soft toys, and catnip
🪟 High perches, window perches, and sunbeams to nap in
📦 Boxes, cozy nooks, cardboard scratchers, and cat beds
🛏️ Your couch and your bed (he's not picky about who owns them)
🐾 A playful feline sidekick who can keep up with his zoomies. A littermate would be purrfect, but any playful kitty pal will do!

He's fine with kids of all ages as long as they're gentle. He has no special needs, just a lot of love, a lot of energy and the cutest pink nose. 🩷

Could your home be Murphy's happily-ever-after? Meet Murphy at The Cat Cafe downtown San Diego. Read more and inquire about him on our website rescuehouse.org
