Today, I am especially grateful to live in this amazing country. As someone originally from South Africa, it’s a profound honor to call the U.S. home. Especially here in San Diego, where the USS Midway reminds us of the immense dedication and courage of our heroes. Today, on Memorial Day, we pause to honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. I am deeply grateful to those who served and to the families who sacrificed. I invite you to take a moment to share a memory or note of gratitude, together, we honor their legacy. Wishing everyone a safe and meaningful Memorial Day.
