In summer 2018, a small group of Encinitas residents met to discuss establishing a community giving circle for the benefit of Encinitas, a community we believe is a great place to live and work. The Encinitas Fund is a way for people to give back to the community, meet new neighbors and get more connected to the nonprofits serving the community.

Residents appreciate being involved with the Fund for many reasons. They like writing one check, knowing that their gift will be pooled with other donations to make a larger impact. They like the fact that donors to the fund have a vote in how the resources will be granted to nonprofit organizations that serve our community. And, they enjoy meeting new residents who share their desire to continue to make Encinitas a good place to live for everyone.
