Thank you to everyone who came out this afternoon in San Juan Capistrano to knock doors and talk with voters.

I’m grateful to Supervisor Team KATRINA FOLEY, WAVE, the Sierra Club California, and all of the volunteers who spent part of their Saturday helping us organize in Orange County.

This is how we win: showing up, having real conversations, and building support community by community.

Thank you for being part of it.

I’m excited to be out in Vista with Councilmember , San Diego Democrats for Equality, and Equality California as we work to flip the 48th.

Marni is exactly the kind of leader we need in Congress: practical, principled, and ready to fight for equality, safer communities, reproductive freedom, and working families.

Join us Sunday, May 24th from 3:30 to 5 PM. Location provided after RSVP.

What a great morning of canvassing for Josh Coyne for San Diego City Council, District 2!

Thank you to everyone who came out, knocked doors, and talked with neighbors about this important race. Josh is exactly the kind of thoughtful, energetic leader San Diego needs, and it was wonderful to be out there with so many dedicated volunteers.

Thank you all for showing up and putting in the work.

Thank you to everyone who came out for yesterday’s town hall on downtown revitalization. It was great to join Mayor Mayor Matt Mahan and San Diego DA Summer Stephan for a strong conversation about tackling homelessness, building safer communities, and making sure downtown San Diego is vibrant, welcoming, and working for everyone.

I really appreciate Mayor Mahan’s leadership and urgency on these issues, and the conversation about what it will take to deliver real results, including fully funding Proposition 36 so local communities have the support they need to improve safety and accountability.

A big thank you as well to our hosts, the Downtown San Diego Partnership and YIMBY Democrats of San Diego, for bringing people together for such an important discussion.

Grateful for the energy in the room and everyone who showed up ready to engage!

I’m officially qualified to appear on the ballot for my reelection campaign for State Senate!

I’m running because I believe in safer communities, a healthier environment, good jobs, affordable housing, and a government that helps people solve problems. That’s the work I’ve focused on in the Senate, and that’s the work I want to keep doing.

Last night was one for the books. 🤠💛

To everyone who came out to celebrate my 50th Birthday Bash at Fox Point Farms, thank you. I’m so grateful for the friends, supporters, and community leaders who filled The Hatch with such warmth, laughter, and that perfect Western flair.

From the live music to the great food to the cowboy hats and boots, you made it an unforgettable night and reminded me why I’m so proud to serve District 38.

Thank you for showing up, pitching in, and helping fuel the work ahead. Let’s keep going.

Great to answer questions and focus on what needs to change at the Carlsbad/Encinitas Dem Club. Proud to be endorsed by the Encinitas & North Coast Democratic Club!

Earlier this week, I toured the Tijuana River Valley and saw one of the most serious pollution disasters in the entire country. I witnessed open sewage flowing toward the ocean from Mexico and heard from residents who are breathing polluted air every day.

As Chair of the Senate Environmental Quality Committee, I will keep pushing for urgent action, upstream investment, and accountability from every level of government. No community in California should have to live with this.

The goats are back! These hardworking animals are helping us reduce fire risk by clearing the under-story around our home. Watching them move through the brush is both practical and oddly calming.

Fire prevention isn’t just big projects and state plans. Sometimes it’s everyday steps in our own communities that make a real difference. Grateful for these little helpers and the work they do to keep our homes safer.

I had a great afternoon talking with neighbors about issues that affect all of us. We discussed water, the future of solar in California, how we can reduce street homelessness, and housing ideas that actually meet the moment.

Thank you to everyone who came, asked questions, and shared your experiences. I always learn a lot from these conversations with curious, engaged constituents.
