Hey everyone. Elan here with . As you know, 2020 has been a major bummer. Events in large gatherings are out the window. It sucks. But it is justified. Our country remains the hardest hit by the coronavirus pandemic. Simple safety precautions are being neglected and it’s important we do stay 6 feet apart in public, where facemasks, and sanitize our hands regularly, or irregularly
Unfortunately the live music and craft brew seen we so carefully curated will be missed this year but I wanted to check in and say thank you for everyone who has joined our salty events in the past. We love you 😍! Your participation has helped raise funds and awareness for amazing nonprofits like Humane Society saving the pups and protecting our shores. We couldn’t of done it without you
So keep your community strong and remember, every voice matters

Her ears catch a tune, perked up towards the moon. The voices collect as rain from monsoons. Progressively moved by a rhythm so smooth it had flavor. She learns not to mourn with the storm and instead savors the diversity of its sound. An ally, open eyed and awaiting solid ground

Water. Land. Sky. Three elements we can always enjoy in our hometown 🧭 Be it close or from afar. Life here is love and that’s where we are.

Celebrating San Diego Pride virtually this year. Yes events took a hit but communities are still strong and gathering their voice and showing their support online. “San Diego Pride’s community philanthropy has distributed more than $2.5 million in advancement of its mission to foster pride, equality, and respect for all le***an, gay, bisexual, and transgender communities locally, nationally, and globally.” wonderful work towards equal rights and equal representation. Miles to go perhaps, but we are here for the whole journey with love ❤️.

Support Your Artists. Making us smile, laugh, cry, dance, love, and groove through life. was a phenomenal performance at last years SaltDog Classic and their message and movement is powerful. This clip is them rocking out with in the a n instant classic 🎶 ❤️ 🎶
It’s intense to contemplate the state of our country. Even so, standing up for equality and standing against racial discrimination might not be easy, but it is right. Quoted from the Shane Hall band “The action needed isn’t a reaction. It’s proactive motion. Put yourself in a position to make a change and hold the true standard of quality and humanity Lift each other up hold no one down.”
Continue to fight the good fight, support your favorite artists and local community as best as we can. When we come out of the other end the world might just be a little safer. 🌎

events have always been about supporting the community, and right now peaceful protest is a great way to contribute to positive local change. The police brutality shown in the murder of George Floyd was an example of how dangerous racial discrimination continues to be. No one should fear their lives when the police arrive at the scene
This image is of the Cardiff community of compassionate individuals, who stand in solidarity against the racial injustice that disproportionately targets African Americans and under-served communities nationwide

When we think about there is an opportunity to represent equality and social justice across all walks of life. Consider ways you can have a positive impact. Members of the black community, the LGBTQIA+ community, the Chicano community, and all those brought down by a bias system appreciate the support. Strength in numbers, power in voice. We stand with you and want a better future for kids growing up in the U.S.A. 🇺🇸 ☮️ 🌍

Long Live Local Breweries 🍻 Our favorite watering holes and trusted craft beverage providers are there to please. Driving through Solana Beach 🏝 you can stop in Tap Rooms finding ways to stay social distant and connected at the same time. Check in and see if they are available for pickup on their canned and bottled beverages. The legend continues for and more. This is just to name a few friends at previous SaltDog Events 🐕 🍻 🎶 🎸 🥁 👯‍♀️👨‍👩‍👧‍👦

Well, it's pretty doggarn clear that not much of the festivals and big family events are taking place for 2020. We are missing being out in the community, and can only wish everyone health, safety, and love.

San Diego is the community we know and love, and raising funds and awareness for good causes it what we like to do at our events. So when we heard the San Diego Zoo Safari Park being closed to the public equated to not being able to afford animal feed, it was something we thought should be brought to attention. SaltDog Classic loves supporting furry friends, and slimy ones, ones with scales, even some with exoskeletons.

We want all our friends and family, small businesses, and live bands to safe by practicing physical distancing, avoiding suspect surfaces, and washing our hands / paws.

Stay up to date with your state and city officials for local questions and concerns, and the World Health Organization (WHO) for best practices for staying safe and informed.

Fixing to change things up this summer and get folks out for a ranch style jamboree 🥁 🎸 🎷 We’re continuing the trend of live music and craft brew shenanigans. But with some additional wildlife involved. This June 2020, moves are being made for a SaltDog BBQ & Brew 🍗 🍺 🌽 This Ranch Style festival and fundraiser is not to be missed. Fun for the family, friends, craft brew enthusiasts and of course dogs
Much appreciation goes to the City of Encinitas for their grassy green fields last year and we plan on an epic return down the line. 🌱 🌺 🌱 you rock
Say hay to a horse, wazzahp? to a chicken, or Oi! to a pig. And oh ya, Ziggy says hi too👋
