This weekend, Sera represented the USA West Academy U14 Team in Salt Lake City and what an incredible experience it was.

On Friday alone, she scored all five of her team’s tries across two matches. 🔥
The team battled their way through to the semi finals today, competing against some of the strongest teams around.

Beyond the results, this weekend was about so much more. New friendships, unforgettable memories, and the opportunity to test herself against some of the best young players in the country.

Congratulations, Sera. It’s great to see your hard work paying off, and everyone at Encinitas Dragons is proud to see you representing on the national stage. 🐉🏉

Sera has earned a reputation as one of the fiercest competitors on the field. Known for her relentless defense, fearless tackling, and determination, she’s the kind of player every team wants beside them when the game is on the line.

Off the field, she’s just as impressive. With a contagious smile, a kind heart, and a positive attitude, Sera is a wonderful teammate and role model who embodies the values of our Dragons family.

We are incredibly proud to see her talent, hard work, and dedication recognized at the next level.

We’re excited to cheer on Avery, Syd, Kelisi, and Sophia as they join forces with players from the Spartans and OMBAC to compete in the Surf N’ Turf 7s Tournament this Saturday, July 11, at Robb Field in San Diego.

Hosted by the San Diego Surfers Women’s Rugby Club, Surf N’ Turf 7s is one of Southern California’s premier summer rugby tournaments, bringing together competitive and social teams from across the region.

🎟 Free admission and family-friendly, with local food vendors on site.

We can’t wait to see these girls represent the Dragons and continue developing their game alongside talented players from across Southern California.

Thank you to the Raptors for hosting and helping bring the final week of Summer 7s to a close!
Congratulations to our U14s on finishing 2nd in the final tournament. Losing only 3 games across the entire season is an incredible achievement and something to be very proud of.
U15 girls smashed their first summer 7s season - finishing second place this week to Belmont with only 3 tries down. Well done!!
U16s - thank you for showing up every week with determination and bringing the Dragons energy week in, week out.
U12s - our experienced group finished with gold, while the emerging players showed tremendous growth in their final games of the tournament. We couldn’t have asked for
more.
U10s - despite facing tough opponents, this group should be incredibly proud. With so many of our athletes only 7 & 8 years old, the experience gained this season will be invaluable.

To all of our players across the club your coaches are proud of the growth, effort & resilience you’ve shown in such a short time. Our new players have made huge strides, and our experienced players have continued to flourish.

What a way to close out Summer 7s. The future of Dragons Rugby is bright!

Week 4 | The sun was shining on our home turf, and it was pure joy watching rugby being played by so many clubs taking part in our Summer 7s tournament.

The respect, sportsmanship, and rugby culture on display throughout the day were exactly what this game is all about. From the players and coaches to the families on the sidelines, the rugby community truly showed up.

As we head into our final week, let’s keep the momentum rolling and finish strong.

We can’t wait to see everyone back out there for what promises to be another fantastic day of rugby! 💙💛🏉

Thank you to Hawaiian Gardens for hosting Week 3 of Summer League. We know it takes a huge community of volunteers, coaches, referees, and families to make these tournament days possible.

It was all heart on the field today from U10s through U16s. The growth we’re seeing, both individually and as teams, is something to be proud of. Keep working hard, supporting one another, and wearing the jersey with pride.
