Sometimes you can feel the difference immediately. ๐
Before treatment, this patient had neck pain and restricted movement. After low-level laser therapy, electrical stim, and some gentle manipulations, his symptoms cleared up right away. Then we can strengthen and stabilize for long term resolution.
His immediate response was:
โจ Less pain
โจ Improved range of motion
โจ Less restriction
โจ Easier movement
When a joint isnโt moving the way it should, it can affect how the surrounding muscles and tissues move and function.
Our goal isnโt simply to โcrack the neck.โ We want to understand whatโs restricted, why it may be happening, and how we can help restore better movement. ๐ง ๐ฆด
Every patient is different, which is why we assess first and tailor care to what we find.

Why is a nasal technique being used during post-concussion care? ๐๐ง
This is the nasal specific technique, a specialized technique we may incorporate into care when weโre looking at the connection between the cranial structures, sensory systems, and nervous system.
This patient was experiencing persistent post-concussive symptoms such as brain fog, dizziness, headaches, etc. which can involve multiple systems. That is why we take a closer look at things like:
๐ง How the brain is processing information
๐ How the eyes are moving and working together
๐ How the inner ear helps with balance
๐ฆด How the neck is moving and sending information to the brain
๐ How the nerves around the head and face are functioning
The goal is to understand how these systems are communicating and where we may be able to support better function!
Every concussion is different, so care should be individualized to the person and their specific findings.

What are we actually looking for during your first exam with us? ๐
Itโs not just, โWhere does it hurt?โ
Weโre looking at the bigger picture, because the area that hurts isnโt always the only piece involved.
During an exam, we may assess:
๐ฆด Joint mobility
๐ช Muscle strength & activation
๐ถโโ๏ธ Posture & movement patterns
๐ง Balance & coordination
โก๏ธ Neurological & sensory input
๐ How everything is working together
Two people can walk into the office with the same complaint and have completely different reasons behind it.
Thatโs why we donโt believe in cookie-cutter care. Your history, movement patterns, nervous system, goals, and findings all help guide the approach.
Donโt just chase the symptom. Find out whatโs contributing to it.
Curious what your body is actually telling you?

Your eyes, ears, and spine are constantly communicating. ๐๐๐ฆด
So when weโre working with someone who has neurological related symptoms, we donโt always want to focus on just one piece of the puzzle.
In this session, weโre combining:
๐ง Pons stimulation โ providing sensory input to the brain stem/nervous system through the tongue
๐ Gaze stability exercises โ challenging the brain to coordinate eye and head movement
๐ฆด Cervical/musculoskeletal work โ addressing the mechanical side of neck stability and movement
Why combine them?
Because your brain needs accurate information from your eyes, inner ear, muscles, and joints to understand where your body is in space and how it should move.
The goal is to work on both sides of the equation:
better neurological input + better mechanical support.
Thatโs why we look beyond the symptom and consider how the different systems are working together.

First time trying SoftWave on her kneeโฆhereโs what she noticed afterward ๐
She came in with 7/10 knee pain and after her first session, she reported:
โจ Pain down to 5/10
โจ Her knee felt less swollen
โจ Movement felt easier
โจ Overall, the knee felt looser
One session doesnโt tell the whole story, but noticing a change in how your knee feels and moves can be a great starting point. ๐
This patient will likely see continuous improvements each visit with less and less pain and more strength and stability when we add in PT related activities....We show cases like this because some people with chronic issues of years need more time for healing than others....90% of cases of the worst knee pain and people that are getting ready to have a knee replacement because of the severe degeneration can have extremely quick relief and even put surgery off as long as pain goes down and function goes up.
SoftWave is a non-invasive therapy we use to support the bodyโs natural recovery process and help address areas of pain, inflammation, and tissue dysfunction.

Sometimes you donโt realize how restricted a movement feelsโฆ until it suddenly feels easier. ๐
This patient started with limited shoulder mobility and tightness after many rounds of golfing. One of the therapies we did in addition to specific adjustments, was cupping coupled with his restricted movement. We had him repeat the same movements, and the difference was:
โจ More range of motion
โจ Less tension
โจ A looser feeling through the shoulder
Cupping uses negative pressure to lift the tissues beneath the cups, which may help temporarily influence local circulation, muscle tension, and pain sensitivity.
Want to know if cupping could be a good fit for you? DM us โCUPPINGโ ๐ฌ

Ever feel like you're playing whack-a-mole with your pain? ๐
You stretch โ it feels better.
You massage it โ it feels better.
You rest โ it feels better.
โฆand then a few days later, it's back.
That's because temporary relief and addressing the factors contributing to your symptoms aren't always the same thing.
Your body is a connected system. When one area isn't doing its job well, another area may compensate - and eventually, that compensation can become the thing you notice.
That's why our goal isn't simply to chase the painful area. We want to understand what may be contributing to it in the first place.

From swollen & stiff to moving more freely. ๐
This patient came in with gout-related swelling and inflammation in his hand.
We used SoftWave therapy as part of his session, and the difference immediately following treatment was noticeable.
โจ Less visible swelling
โจ Easier movement
โจ A much freer feeling through the hand
While SoftWave doesn't treat the underlying cause of gout, it can be used as a supportive therapy to help manage symptoms and promote a better environment for recovery.
Same hand. Same visit. Noticeable difference.

He felt a pulling sensation every time he moved his neckโฆ ๐
This patient came in describing a tight, pulling feeling in his neck that he noticed with different head and neck movements.
During his session, we used SoftWave therapy to target the area and support the body's natural recovery process.
By the end of the treatment, he reported feeling:
โจ 40% better
โจ Much looser through his neck
โจ Less of that pulling sensation with movement
โจ More comfortable moving his head
Sometimes it's not about simply "stretching out" a tight muscle. Finding what may be contributing to the restriction and using the right combination of therapies can help patients move more comfortably.

Everyone responds differently to treatment, which is why we tailor our approach to each patient's symptoms and goals!

Why are we using a laser for concussions, Migraine Headaches, dizziness, stroke, neck pain, shoulder pain, low back pain and other types of neuromuscular recovery? ๐๐ฌ
Low-level laser therapy, also known as photobiomodulation, uses specific wavelengths of light to interact with your cells and support the body's natural recovery processes.
Depending on the patient and condition, it may help support:
โจ Cellular energy production
๐ฅ A healthy inflammatory response
๐ฉน Tissue repair and recovery
๐ง Pain modulation
๐ช Muscle and soft-tissue recovery
And no, this isn't the same laser you'd see in a surgery room OR that knock off on Amazon from China. ๐
It's a non-invasive therapy that we can incorporate into a personalized treatment plan alongside other treatments and therapies.
Curious about how it works or whether it could be appropriate for you?
