I just spent four unforgettable days in Chania 🇬🇷
From wandering through the charming Venetian old town and discovering hidden local gems on a food tour, to soaking in the unreal turquoise waters of Balos Lagoon — every moment felt like it could have been on a postcard.
I stayed at the new JW Marriott where the views were divine and the food was fresh and thoughtfully presented. The view from my room was incredible!
The perfect finale: a traditional Cretan summer celebration filled with music, laughter, incredible local flavors, and a beautifully curated wine pairing dinner hosted by a talented sommelier. 🍷✨

The first part of my trip was spilt between the iconic Minos Palace and the gorgeous Minos Art Hotel in Agios Nikolaos — both set on that impossibly blue water with views that made every morning feel like a dream. One of the highlights was sailing out to Spinalonga🏴 —
This tiny fortified island off the coast of Crete holds centuries of history, from Venetian defenses to its poignant past as a l***r colony. Walking its stone paths feels like stepping back in time.
Then came the evenings…delicious food created with local herbs, olive oils and wine, while the raki was flowing freely. On the last night we were able to enjoy a traditional Cretan night with live music and folk dancing.
Agios Nikolaos, is a charming, sun-drenched gem!

After a long flight, checking into the Singer Palace Hotel felt like a dream.
