Made Japanese milk bread today. And then had our version of the famous Japanese 7-11 egg salad sandwich. Have to say it was delish!!

Dinner tonight at our ryokan! Guess it was a three post day!

Part two! We went to the bottom of the Hakone Ropeway to the Hakone Open-Air Museum. So many amazing pieces of art on the most beautiful grounds! Then we were picked up by our new friend that we met yesterday on our walk. Kazou and his wife took us a tea house that is over 300 years old and still run by the 13th generation of the same family. It is situated on the original Tokaido Road which was the road that was built in the 1600s to connect Kyoto to Tokyo.

Variety announcing two shows that I had the pleasure of working on! It’s going to be a summer full of cake!!

Started the day with very expensive, but outstanding coffee. Went on to Kappabashi (also known as Kitchen Town) to buy a couple of Japanese knives. So many restaurant supply stores! I could have spent days here. I especially loved the fake food shops. Ended the day with the best ramen ever!! Thanks and for the ramen recommendation.

And I wouldn’t be me if I didn’t insist we hit an amazing bakery!
